What You Need to Know About Buying a Manor House Stables Racehorse Share

What to Expect

Partnership Shares:
For shares in Balon D’Or (10%) and Havanah Gold/Usra (25%), you’ll need to sign the Manor House Stables Training Agreement. Make sure to get this done by 5pm on Tuesday 19 November 2024. You can find the agreement on our website: Bolesworth Elite Auctions.

Syndicate Shares:
If you’re interested in I’m Just Ken (10%), you’ll sign the Manor House Stables Syndicate Agreement by the same deadline. All agreements are available on our website.

Costs and Commitments

• Hammer Price: This doesn’t cover annual running costs, which will be invoiced monthly by Manor House Stables. Be sure to pay invoices within 30 days.
• Commissions:
  – Owners pay a 5% commission on the hammer price.
  – Purchasers pay a 10% commission on the hammer price.

Insurance Options

• For Havanah Gold/Usra and Balon D’Or, insurance isn’t included, but you can cover your share. Reach out to Harriet Adams at Manor House Stables to arrange this:

• I’m Just Ken: The hammer price includes Pink Ladies Exclusive Membership, granting you access to a season of hospitality events and more.

Ownership Registration

• If you buy a Partnership Share, you’ll need to register as a BHA owner, which involves a small fee. Registration is a breeze and can be done online at Become an Owner | British Horseracing Authority. Need help? Harriet’s your go-to!
• Syndicate Share buyers don’t need BHA registration, but you’ll still be listed as a syndicate share owner without extra fees.
